Theology
As Western culture continues to rapidly shift and impact the American landscape, including the Church, the transformational wisdom and truth of Scripture are perhaps now more important than ever.
In every facet of society—social, political and moral—our world needs the grace, hope and love of the gospel. The EFCA upholds and stands firmly on doctrinal integrity through our Statement of Faith. This remains central to our identity, beliefs and mission as a movement. This is why we commit, once a year, to hosting the EFCA Theology Conference.

The Problem
Face-to-face interaction with premier evangelical scholars, theologians, historians and pastors is often limited due to time and availability. In addition, nearly seventy-five percent of EFCA pastors are unable to readily attend this conference due to associated expenses.
The Solution
We bring the conference to them.
Pastors and church leaders around the country look to theologians and subject matter experts as they seek to shepherd their congregations to make disciples and love their neighbors in an ever-changing world. We believe by leveraging technology we can expand the depth and breadth of the EFCA theology Conference. This will more effectively serve and equip EFCA pastors and the larger evangelical world.
The Plan
We have historically provided supplemental written resources and podcasts to support the ongoing theological education of our pastors. The need to expand the EFCA theological influence within our movement has become increasingly evident.
Our intention is to enhance our ability to staff and support relevant podcasts from our EFCA Theology Department and the larger evangelical world. We also envision timely webinars from practitioners across our movement on theological topics that are both practical and culturally relevant.
"This conference helped me be a better pastor, and thinker. Many of these theological doctrines affect the battles I face in pastoral ministry on a regular basis."
The Investment Opportunity
Imagine if—on an on-demand basis—every EFCA pastor and church leader across the U.S. had the opportunity to grow and gain much-needed wisdom on subjects like:
- The Theology of Human Sexuality
- The Doctrine of the Church
- The Gospel, Compassion and Justice
- The Doctrine of Creation
What a blessing it would be if pastors could share this information with their leadership teams and congregations.
We invite you to invest in this crucial ministry. Your investment in a strong theological foundation empowers individuals, families and communities to be transformed. A comprehensive understanding of biblical truth provides a compass to guide pastors and church leaders as they navigate the shifting winds of Western culture.
