Our Team

Rene has extensive non-profit and ministry experience including director of ministry services and resources at Mount Carmel Ministries, administrative manager at Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners, executive director at Love, INC. and her current role at the EFCA. She has a B.A. in secondary education and is a Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM). Rene’s life focus is to point people to Jesus by listening, learning and loving well. She and her husband Jon enjoy life and laughter together with their two daughters and sons-in-law.

Lanny Harris, MBA, serves as Vice President of the EFCA Foundation and provides leadership with a focus on gift planning. With nearly four decades of nonprofit and ministry experience, Lanny strives to connect people to the ministries they most care about through good stewardship. He has served the EFCA since 1996. Lanny and Ruth, his wife of 32 years, recently moved from Apple Valley, Minnesota to Lexington, Kentucky. They are blessed with two adult children.
