Forty-four percent of churches in the U.S. have one or fewer full-time staff members and limited administrative and volunteer support. A growing number of pastors are bi-vocational, splitting their time between their ministry and professional commitments. With limited staff and expertise in communications, accounting, technology, human resources and annual planning, churches often look to their district and national partners as trusted providers of much-needed operational resources.

In a January 2019 survey of district and pastoral leadership, the curation and cataloging of ministry resources from trusted district and national partners was unanimously the top priority.

EFCA Helps is a digital resource library, providing local churches with trusted resources and practical tools for ministry. From personnel policies to website development, EFCA Helps provides a curated online catalogue of best practices built for the benefit of the local church.

The Plan 

We are utilizing the abundance of tools already in existence and freely provided by many of our churches, as well as our national and district offices. We are also providing access to an online library of resources from outside providers that share an EFCA gospel-centric perspective and mission.
